"Still Going Strong: Sexuality in Older Adults" by Tuuli Kukkonen is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
The importance of sexual expression in older adults remains a controversial topic despite the positive relationship between sexual functioning and quality of life across the lifespan. In this talk, Dr. Kukkonen encourages us to examine and discuss sexuality in older adults and challenges some of the societal biases that limit our understanding of sex and aging.
Dr. Tuuli Kukkonen is a clinical psychologist, assistant professor, and director of the psychophysiology of sexual health laboratory at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
