When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt. - Henry J. Kaiser
In our personal and professional lives, we are constantly hit with one adversity after the other, most of which we have no control over. But the four things we have total control over is how we react, how we adapt, how we breathe, and how we take actions (Diamond Dallas Page). In this section we will venture into the various aspects of professionalism. Being a professional includes a set of attitudes, behaviors, and standards that reflect integrity, competence, and ethical conduct in the workplace. Professionalism focuses on the soft skills that an individual possesses (including time management, respect, leadership, integrity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, dressing appropriately, and strong work ethics.) Whether interacting with colleagues or clients, qualities such as reliability, accountability, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of one's professional endeavors are noticed and appreciated in the workforce. By personifying a professional attitude, individuals improve their chance of a successful career.
