Library Holds/Blocks

Students that have a library hold (service indicator), must email the library at circ@hostos.cuny.edu requesting the hold to be lifted.  The library will consider each request on a case by case basis, if the hold can be temporarily or permanently lifted. Please include the following information in the email communication:

  • Full name (As reflected in CUNYFirst)
  • 8 digit CUNY Empl ID#
  • Email Address
  • Contact Telephone #
