Mon-Thurs 11:00-1:00 Banned Books on the Bridge (okay, well, the Atrium!) - stop by our table in the A building Atrium for giveaways, info about attempts to ban books around the country, and info about the Hostos Libary. 

Freedom to Read Film Festival - take a break from studying and come join us for snacks and movie-watching! We'll be screening films based on books that have been challenged or banned. 

All films will be screened on the third floor of the A building, in the room across from the library entrance. First five audience members will also get a small special gift.

Anyone who goes to school, works, or lives in NY state can get a free library card at any (or all!) of NYC's three public library systems:
