People who want to defend the well-being and rights of immigrants may also find it useful to understand what anti-immigrant media are telling their readers, in order to know what that side is thinking.
For these purposes, there are conservative news sources such as the National Review (more traditional in tone) and Fox News (more sensationalistic) which are considered mainstream conservative. There are also more extreme right-wing media such as Breitbart, which has a widespread reputation for inventing false reports and spreading rumors.
Indefensible is a five-part podcast series reporting stories of families resisting deportation. This podcast was created by the Immigrant Defense Project, a non-profit based in New York City.
This American Life, a weekly radio show and podcast, has reported both journalistic and personal stories about a broad range of experiences with immigration and the effects of changes to laws and policies.
