Research 101 (older version): Adding Hostos Library to your Google Scholar links

Add Hostos Library to your Google Scholar links

If you are using Google Scholar on your own computer, you can add Hostos Library to your "library links" to make sure that searches show you articles available to you free because of the library's subscription to those journals and databases. You can then access Google Scholar by going to directly. To set up these Hostos Library Links:

  1. Go to
  2. Click on the three parallel lines in the upper left corner to see the menu
  3. Click on "Settings"
  4. Click on "Library links"
  5. Search for the word Hostos
  6. Add -- Hostos Community College Library - CUNY -> Fulltext at Hostos

Or, if you are off-campus but not using your own computer, you should sign in to the library with your CUNY Login (firstname.lastname##) and then go to the Hostos Library database list and click on Google Scholar there.
